Minority oppression by Awami League

New Age editor Nurul Kabir talked about the minority Hindu oppression issue in a clear language in a live television talk show. He said, this is not a communal tradition of Bangladesh, rather this is an effect of ongoing political clashes and instability.

He mentioned the example of Jessor where ruling party Awami League’s thugs beat the Hindus and burnt their houses in order to blame the opposition and to punish them as they didn’t vote for the leader of a Awami group, and voted for another group of the same party.
