Hindu temple torched in Gaibandha

Gaibandha, Mar 16 (UNB) – Unidentified miscreants torched a Hindu temple at Kamlabazaar in Sadar upazila early Sunday.

 

Locals said the miscreants set fire to the temple pouring petrol into it in the wee small hours.

 

The blaze burned down the fence, worshipping materials and a part of the roof before the villagers doused it.
Assistant police super of Gaibandha Jewel Ahmed and officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Gopal Chakrabarty visited the spot on Sunday morning.

 

A case was also filed in connection with the incident.
